Prayer Request for Greg Comer – 1/12/2011

Posted: January 12, 2011 in Michael K Sanders

Requested by Debbie Hillman (a dear and long time friend of mine) and Jacob for Greg Comer. Greg has battled cancer for almost 7 yrs and the doctors say he is in his final days. Greg is 41, he is married and has 2 children, Jacob 11 and Alyssa 7. His son Jacob asked his Mom for a special request, for everyone to pray for a miracle for his daddy. Debbie has requested we join Jacob and many others praying for Greg, in true faith of Gods awesome power. We understand that seriousness of this stage of illness, but now pray to you with the same devotion as David when he overcame Goliath.

In faith, you can overcome anything!

Father, we have faith in your Healing Word and that Your Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We believe, in the name of Jesus, that by Your Plan Greg will be comforted and rescued, as he boldly faces a serious battle with cancer. We pray you blessed him with Your Saving and Healing power, according to 1 Peter 2:24. Your Word explains that Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.

Therefore, with great boldness and confidence we say on the authority of Your written Word that Greg Comer, in faith, is redeemed from his battle with cancer and will be covered by You now.

We join Jacob, in his innocence and faith, and stand firm in our faith on Your Word:

2 Corenthians 6:2 “…in the time of My favor I heard you, and in the day of Salvation I helped you.”

We have the assurance of Your Word that Your Holy Spirit encamps around us and by Your Plan delivers us from sickness and injury. No evil shall befall us, no plague or calamity shall win over us. We confess Your Word abides in us and delivers to us perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of our nature in our immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of our bones. Your Word is medication and “Life” to our flesh for the law of the Spirit of Life operates in us and makes us free from the law of illness and death.

We wear the armor of Your Word to protect us from all the fiery darts sent towards us. Jesus is the high Priest of our confession and we hold fast to our confession of faith in You and Your Word. We stand immovable and fixed in full assurance that Greg will be redeemed. Bless his family and friends with the understanding and comfort only Your Holy Spirit can provide.

In Your name Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen
