Update: Prayer Request for Bill “Papa” Cusac – 3/8/2011

Prayer request for Bill Cusac from his wife Ester Cusac.

We have been praying for Bill since early February. His prognosis is serious and he is enjoying perhaps his final days with his family. He will travel to UCSB to watch his granddaughter sing and in true faith of Gods awesome power, we are lifting Papa up in prayer to ask that he be blessed with the time to enjoy this experience. We understand the seriousness of this stage of his illness and are asking You Lord and praying for a miracle with all of our heart, soul, mind, devotion, commitment, passion, hope and faith in You.

Father, we have faith in your Healing Word and that Your Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We believe, in the name of Jesus, that by Your Plan, Papa will be comforted and rescued, as he boldly faces this serious illness. We pray you bless him with Your Saving and Healing power, according to 1 Peter 2:24. Your Word explains that Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.

Therefore, with great boldness and confidence we say on the authority of Your written Word that Bill Cusac, in faith, is redeemed from this battle with liver failure and will be covered and rescued by You now.

We stand firm in our faith on Your Word:

2 Corenthians 6:2 “…in the time of My favor I heard you, and in the day of Salvation I helped you.”

We have the assurance of Your Word that Your Holy Spirit encamps around us and by Your Plan delivers us from sickness and injury. No evil shall befall us, no plague or calamity shall win over us. We confess Your Word abides in us and delivers to us perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of our nature in our immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of our bones. Your Word is medication and “Life” to our flesh for the law of the Spirit of Life operates in us and makes us free from the law of illness and death.

We wear the armor of Your Word to protect us from all the fiery darts sent towards us. Jesus is the high Priest of our confession and we hold fast to our confession of faith in You and Your Word. We stand immovable and fixed in full assurance that Papa will be redeemed. Bless his family and friends with the understanding, power of faith and comfort only Your Holy Spirit can provide.
