Prayer Request for our son, 2nd Lt Matthew Sanders, USAF – 2/20/2011

2nd Lt Matt Sanders, USAF

Prayer request for our son, Matt Sanders, who is going through USAF Fighter Pilot training. Pilot training is the hardest and most challenging training in the military and we ask you to join us to lift Matt up in prayer with all of our heart, soul, mind, devotion, commitment, passion, hope and faith in Christ.

"Look to me for Victory!"
Father we pray in complete and total faith, that Your Will, Plan and all of Your blessings will be poured out unto Matt as he faithfully expects Your supernatural help to overcome the attacks from the enemy with his human emotions, thoughts when he is weak and physical reactions to flying at incredible speeds and maneuvers, as well as, the challenges of overwhelming requirements of study and knowledge required in this program. We join him in faithful prayer and look to You Father to bring Matt through this training with the strength of David, as he faced Goliath, and You blessed him with Victory. Cover and bless Matt with Your power, strength, and victory including the comfort, wisdom, and security only Your Holy Spirit can provide.

Bless us to remember to pause for just a moment and think…..

Bless us with the ability to take a few minutes to think about where we are in life, our desires and the challenges we face. In our best effort and by our own abilities we can find ourselves weak in the face of some challenges. We know and understand that only Your supernatural blessing will bring us to victory in all our circumstances.

I am right there with you !!!
We know with You in our life, we can rise above and overcome even the most difficult situations with just a little faith and by simply calling Your name.

We call Your name, “Jesus Jesus Jesus” and immediately we experience a moment of peace, calmness and serenity. We know this is because Lord Jesus, You truly hear each of us when we call Your name.

We are strongest (and Your Power is strongest in us) when we are at our weakest points in life. We expect the strength of Your “Life” in us and we can always receive it just by calling Your name.

We know immediately our situation will begin to change. We will notice a positive attitude is immediately in our thoughts and we begin to think clearly, overcome our weaknesses and make right decisions.

"Remember it is I who will bring you through everything"

Christ Jesus, by Your Will and Your Plan for us, You have graciously blessed us to hear, understand, and have complete and total faith in your word:

Philippians 3:13-14 “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

1 Peter 5:7 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”

James 1:6 – “But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt”…

Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Jeremiah 33:3: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

2 Timothy 1:7: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power”

Psalm 91:14-16: “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him,”

Isaiah 41:13-14: “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

We pray to You Christ and Lord Jesus, with complete faith, and total expectation that You will answer our prayers, Amen

We sometimes think about and even consider the “religious” way of life, but are challenged by the seemingly odd or rigorous traditions, fanciness, reactionary and emotional behaviors we see going on in church, on television and even from folks standing on the corner or knocking on our doors. In today’s world of technology and information, we can easily educate ourselves and make our own decisions. Which we enjoy, and we should! If you are thinking about how religion, or in an easier term to understand, a spiritual life can help you, start with the simplest (and absolutely most important) information. His Message for You is here and ready for you now!!!!!
