Prayer request from Tricia Kiss for Former Los Banos High School Band Drum Major, Tom West who was called Home to be with our Father this morning after a battle with cancer. We realize, sometimes, this is His answer to our prayers for healing and rescue.
Father, we do not always understand, but we do have faith Your Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and we know You will call each of us Home in Your Time, by Your Plan:
Ephesians 1:9-11 “God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything workout according to his plan.”
We have complete faith You bring us home immediately to You when we leave this world and know You will welcome Wes Home with open arms!
"Welcome Home Tom"1 Corinthians 15:51-57: “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye….we shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed…and this mortal shall have put on immortality… thanks be to God, which giveth us this victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Lord, bless Tom’s family, fellow band members and all of his friends with the comfort, understanding and faith only Your Holy Spirit can provide.
