Prayer request from Deanna Long for Officer Long who was killed in the line of duty today, 7/11/2011 while serving a felony warrant. We also pray for the healing of Shadow, his faithful and valiant Police Dog that was seriously injured in the altercation.
We pray together now in complete and total faith, with all of our strength, passion, love and Hope for Officer Long’s family, friends and fellow officers.
Father, we do not always understand Your way, but we have faith Your Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and we know Your plan is always for good and that you will welcome Brent home with open arms. We pray You will bless bless his family and friends with the understanding and comfort only Your Holy Spirit can provide.
We pray in faith in Your Word:
Ephesians 1:9-11 “God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything workout according to his plan.”
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…we shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed… and this mortal shall have put on immortality… thanks be to God, which giveth us this victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We praise You and thank You Lord that Your blessing of redemption and victory for Officer Brent D. Long is a blessing You graciously give for all of us!
In Your Name God our Father, Christ and Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit we pray, Amen
Please join with us in sending our condolences to the family and peers of Police Officer Brent Long.
