Prayer request from His Message for You Ministry for Reverend John Stott, one of the world’s most influential figures in the spread of evangelical Christianity over the past half-century. Rev. Stott died today at the age of 90.

We pray together now in complete and total faith, with all of our strength, passion, love and Hope for Rev. Stott and his family and many friends.

Father, we have faith Your will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We know Your plan is always for good and that you will welcome Rev. Stott home with open arms. We pray You will bless bless his family and friends with the understanding and comfort only Your Holy Spirit can provide. We also pray for Pastor Rick Warren who is a close friend and Rev. Stott was his mentor and an active supporter of Pastor Warren’s ministry.

We pray in faith in Your Word:

Ephesians 1:9-11 “God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything workout according to his plan.”

"Welcome Home Rev. Stott, My good and faithful servant"

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…we shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed… and this mortal shall have put on immortality… thanks be to God, which giveth us this victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We praise You and thank You Lord that Your blessing of redemption and victory for Rev. Stott is a blessing You graciously give for all of us!

In Your Name God our Father, Christ and Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit we pray, Amen
