Praying for United States Marine Sgt. Adan Gonzales Jr and his family – 8/9/2011

Prayer request from His Message for You Ministry for another of our Heroes Sgt Adan Gonzales Jr., 28 years old from Bakersfield, CA. He was killed in action on 8/7/2011 in Afghanistan. Sgt Gonzales was a graduate of Ridgeview High School and leaves behind a wife and three young children, two girls and a boy. He served for 5 years, including a tour in Iraq. He is the sixth service member and second marine from Kern County killed in Afghanistan and His name will be etched on the Wall of Valor to honor his service. 　

We pray together now in complete and total faith, with all of our strength, passion, love and Hope for our Sgt. Gonzales, his family and all those who stand in harms way to protect us.

Father, we have faith Your will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We know Your plan is always for good. We pray You will bless the families and friends of Sgt. Gonzales, a courageous and valiant Soldier, with the understanding and comfort only Your Holy Spirit can provide. We know You have welcomed Adan Home with open arms.

We pray in faith in Your Word:

Ephesians 1:9-11 “God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything workout according to his plan.”

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…we shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed… and this mortal shall have put on immortality… thanks be to God, which giveth us this victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We praise You and thank You Lord that Your blessing of redemption and victory for US Marine Sgt. Adan Gonzales Jr. is a blessing You graciously give for all of us!
