Prayer request from His Message for You ministry for Dan Wheldon, who lost his life today in the sport he loved. We pray for his family, his friends and all of us who have a passion for Indy Car racing. We know the risk is always there and we hope no one ever is injured or killed, so we turn to our strength in times like these.
Father, we do not always understand Your way, but have faith Your plan is always for good and we know You will bless all the injured drivers and Dan’s family with the Healing Power of Your Holy Spirit. We pray You will bless all those impacted by this tragedy with the understanding and comfort only Your Holy Spirit can provide.
We pray in faith in Your Word:
Ephesians 1:9-11 “God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything workout according to his plan.”
We have complete faith You bring us home immediately to You when we leave this world and know You will welcome Dan home with open arms!
1 Corinthians 15:51-57: “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye….we shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed…and this mortal shall have put on immortality… thanks be to God, which giveth us this victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We thank You Lord that Your blessing of redemption and victory for Dan is a blessing You graciously provide for all of us!
