Praying for our Veterans – 11/11/2013

1 Peter 4:10-11 – As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies.

"For your service, you are blessed today!"

Father, on this day we pray in Your Glory to honor our veterans. We thank You for the brave and courageous men and women who gave their best, some the ultimate sacrifice, when they were called upon to serve and protect our country. We know You will bless them for their unselfish commitment and service to preserve our freedom. We know you will reward them for the hardships they faced, the sacrifices they and their families made, and the challenges many of them endure today. We pray in thanks as we respect and honor them. We are proud of each and every one of them and we pray You will cover our heroes, our Veterans, with Your healing power and the Peace, Joy and Happiness only Your Holy Spirit can provide.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

"Thank you for serving, we salute you this Veterans Day!"

We sometimes think about and even consider the “religious” way of life, but are challenged by the seemingly odd or rigorous traditions, fanciness, reactionary and emotional behaviors we see going on in church, on television and even from folks standing on the corner or knocking on our doors. In today’s world of technology and information, we can easily educate ourselves and make our own decisions. Which we enjoy, and we should! If you are thinking about how religion, or in an easier term to understand, a spiritual life can help you, start with the simplest (and absolutely most important) information. His Message for You is here and ready for you now!!!!!
