Special Sermons for You

“You’re Beautiful” in His Eyes!

We often think about how we are viewed by others or how we feel about ourselves. We live day by day thinking about our shortcomings, our guilt, our anger, our appearance, our attitude, how we are treated, how we treat others, how we love and how we want to be loved, and I could go on and on.

Almost for everyone, at some time in our life, we think this question “If there is a God……?” We wonder, does God really know me, can He see me? How does He see me?

Not to start off negatively, but it is important to know, if you do not believe in Him, if you do not look to Him in faith and understand the Faith He desires, you will struggle to know Him, you will be influenced aggressively by the enemy and God’s blessings will be distant from you. He cannot see you for the beautiful person you are.

However, it is so easy to get His attention! It only takes a few simple steps to know Him and know regardless of where you are in life, how you are living, how you look, how you feel, or what you have done in life, you can feel His eyes on you instantly.

Psalms 14:2 “The LORD looks down from heaven… to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. “

Just have a little faith. That’s it! You may ask, what does that mean? How? Again, it is very simple. Know God is looking down from heaven and He loved you so much he sacrificed His only Son for you! (Imagine, what is it that you would see in someone to be willing to sacrifice your child for them?)

John 3:16 “”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Have faith that Jesus lived, died (and took all of our sins – then, now and forever – to death with him), and He rose again to prove He is God and is our Salvation.

Yes, have faith and God will see you when you believe in His Son. God sees this as “Right”. This is the righteousness God want’s us to understand. Just have faith.

When you do, He will see you as beautiful as His own Child, as beautiful as His Son. Because His Son is in you and He will lift you up! Immediately!!!

Psalms 3:3 “… you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.”

Psalms 16:3 “As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.”

Psalms 103 (fear = reverence/believe) “11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;”

Ezekial 36:26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; ”

God will see you as a beautiful person, with His Spirit in you and He will see your Faith and you will never be condemned (see Romans 8 – The Meaning of Life”).

Have Faith now and begin to live each and every day (even when you may not feel right, or things are not going well) knowing that God sees you as Beautiful!

The way God sees you is shared by MercyMe – Beautiful (right click Beautiful and select “Open Link in a new Tab” to listen as you read the lyrics)

Days will come when you don’t have the strength
And all you hear is you’re not worth anything
Wondering if you ever could be loved
And if they truly saw your heart
They’d see too much

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful

Praying that you have the heart to fight
Cuz you are more than what is hurting you tonight
For all the lies you’ve held inside so long
But they are nothing in the shadow of the cross

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful

Before you ever took a breath
Long before the world began
Of all the wonders He possessed
There was one more precious
Of all the earth and skies above
You’re the one He madly loves
Enough to die!

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
In His eyes

You’re beautiful!
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful!
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful!
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful!
You are treasured
You are sacred
You are His

In the Name of our Lord and Christ Jesus, Amen

I know little, but enough….. and share from Him, much!

And some, who are over me in authority and some who appear successful, educated and well respected in the local churches and social groups have said, “we will say our prayers our way, we will go to our church, we will practice our religion, we will live as we think we should live, our wealth defines our life, our position defines our authority.”

God bless them that in this they know Jesus!

Because this is all that I know or need to know, all those things being well and good, are only that, well and good.

“Great” is having Christ revealed to you and in you. We know those He has revealed Himself to by the bold testimony of Truth and His Word they share. I pray you find His Truth and find Him, with His Message for You! It is simple and it is not hard!

"I tell you the Truth"
Matthew 11:25-30 25 “At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.”

27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

A gift from God, Technology!

A number of days ago I began writing down inspiration I was feeling about using technology to share His Message for You. After a number of days and much time forming my words and thoughts I still found myself reading “my words”. My heart and spirit compels me to always look for confirmation that His Holy Spirit is inspiring the information shared on His Message for You. I prayed this morning for guidance and to be led to scripture to support my hypotheses.

After a long and busy day helping my family and enjoying fellowship with good friends, on the way home I briefly heard a reference to James 1-17 regarding gifts from heaven being medicine, doctors, television, and the internet. I recalled I had prayed for scripture to make sure the word I was sharing was His Word. When I arrived home this evening, I powered on my computer and was led to go straight to my favorite scripture site, Bible.com, and went to James to find the scripture I had heard earlier in the day. This is one of those times when I know His Spirit is in me, and I am walking in His Spirit. All of the scripture that was needed to justify the information written in inspiration was right there in James!!!!!!

All of it! James scriptures completely confirmed and supported the words He inspired me to write and confirmed the inspiration was from His Holy Spirit.

Amen Amen Amen !!!!

Below you will see the words written as I felt He touched my heart to share them. Then you will find the scripture that He led me to this evening. Within minutes, the message was complete and fully covered and confirmed by His Word. Yes His Message for You below is by Him. Truly God is good and inspires our thoughts, His Holy Spirit gives us wisdom and a gift to share His Message for You, and Jesus Christ answers our prayers. Amen!

Here it is, His Message for You this week:

In these times or this “season”, for many of us, we face and notice events, issues, problems, suffering, illness and tragedies more then we used to.

James 1-2 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Of course, for some, we move out of trials and move into good things and even great situations of prosperity and blessings.

James 1-12 “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

In any case, we notice things in our lives and in this world with a greater awareness and understanding. This is partly due to our maturing attitudes and spirits (especially for Christians), as well, from information and news streaming to us from from television, radio and the internet. We all have greater access to sources of details today then we ever had in history. We are intrigued with the capabilities to learn, educate and enlightened ourselves with a great view of the world and a greater understanding of things going on in the world.

We find ourselves getting involved or even connected with events we may previously have just passed off as beyond our control or interest. Today, we will sit for hours and watch an event unfold on TV, follow a TV or radio series, a talk-show or a particular celebrity Host with passion and often belief in what is portrayed and shared. We will surf the web or engage in lengthy discussions on Twitter or Facebook. This is all due to the advancements of technology. High speed connectivity directly into our homes, multiple computers, televisions and radios in every room and the internet now available on our cell phones and in our cars.

It is amazing how many of us use these new technologies to expand our knowledge and understanding of issues and things going on around us and around the world. We now dedicate more time to these sources of information and connection to friends and the world then any other sources or method. As an example, instead of going to visit someone, we send them an email, instead of talking to our neighbors we send them a text message, instead of checking in on someone to see how they are doing we follow there postings on Facebook and leave brief comments.

This is not actually bad or wrong. In fact, our ability to stay connected, to share our ideas, to share His Word and to fellowship on a scale we never imaged is literally in “our hands”. These is a true gift from God!

James 2-17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father….”

Now that being said, we need to take care not to allow this new and vast access to information to be a distraction or to mislead us.

James 1-16 “Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers.”

Yes, the enemy enjoys exploiting the advances of the world when they are used, viewed and depended on for worldly activities and from worldly views and perspectives.

James 4-4 “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.”

As a Christian, to receive the full benefit of technology gifts and access to wisdom and truth (sound familiar? Adam-Eve-Apple-Tree of Truth) we must be committed to Christ and His Word.

James 4-7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”

You need to be able to receive His Message for You from all these new technologies and to use these gifts to share His Word. Do not just “Like” a message and then do not share it.

James 1-22 “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.”
A gift from God, Technology!

SHARE” the message! Share His Message for You with others by posting the link on your wall, on your friends wall, in emails, as a comment to other postings by your friends. Click “SHARE” and let His Message for You reach the world!!

And be blessed !!!!

James 5-20 “remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”

In the Name of our Christ Jesus, Amen

Living Hope (The Goal of Your Faith!)

Understanding “Hope” (Peter’s Divine guidance)

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, be with you and with us in truth and love forever. Amen

Do you ever hope? Do you have Hope? Understanding how Hope will let you live your life in peace and without worry is a gift and blessing God wants you to have today and you can!

Listen carefully to this wonderful song Who Am I – Right click Who am I and select “Open Link in a new Tab” to listen as you read today’s Word to help understand HOPE.

John shared with us:

John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”.

James shared with us:

James 1:25 “It is by our obedience to God’s will through our faith in Christ that puts us into the body of Christ, His church, and makes us acceptable to God.”

John shared with us the most vivid and finalizing message on God’s Grace, Living Spirit and Plan for us in Romans 8 – The Meaning of Life.

Knowing these things we can realize Peter’s scriptures in the New Testament provide a wonderful explanation of the Living Hope and how to “Live in Hope”.

1 Peter 1:3-5 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”

You can be ready to understand and receive “Living Hope” and you can choose to make a bold change now!

Now you can immediately Live in Hope, even if things are not perfect in your life, as we all have struggles and need help:

1 Peter 1:6-7 “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

His Living Hope is now yours, this instant and for you forever!! Peter declares a clear and wonderful message:

1 Peter 1:8-9 “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

You Life is now changed forever. Your anxiety goes away, peace is upon you, your thoughts are clear and your ambitions and dreams return with positive expectations:

1 Peter 1:13 “Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

You are enlightened, have a greater since of wisdom and begin to fully understand the Christ you have accepted:

1 Peter 1:19-21 “but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God”.

Amen Amen!!

1 Peter 1:23-25 “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” 24 For, “All men are like grass and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, 25 but the word of the Lord stands forever.”

You now know and understand His Word, you can Live by His Word, and you can Live in His Hope, the Living Hope! You are reading these words today and feeling the joy of His Living Hope because this is God’s Plan for You. His Message for You!!! You are special, you are selected and were selected from the beginning of time:

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

This is incredible news! You can endure anything you encounter, any trial, trouble, tribulation, season and suffering because you have His Living Hope and His Word:

1 Peter 2:19-20 “For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. 20 ….But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.”

Life is so much easier when you can humbly accept challenges, respect even those who do not offer you respect, because you are right, you “Live in Right” by knowing His Grace and His Word and you will notice you become a better person, a nicer person and guess what? Others notice too!!

1 Peter 4:8-11 “8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

Again, do not wonder why you may be in a trial, trouble, a season. Do not be surprised or afraid:

1 Peter 4:12-13 “12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed”.

Peter closes his divine instruction, guidance and God’s Word with clear, easy to understand and absolutly wonderful inspiration!!!! Little is left to write here and the following scriptures explain why I am where I am in life and why I share His Message for You. His Word is all that is needed:

1 Peter 5:1-11 “1 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. 5 Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Voice of Truth

Understanding the Changes (John’s Divine guidance)

He saves you out of the crashing waves!
Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, be with you and with us in truth and love forever. Amen

Have you decided to stand firm in your Faith?

If you want to establish your Faith you can do it now !!

Listen carefully to this wonderful song the Voice of Truth (Right click Voice of Truth and select “Open Link in a new Tab” to listen as you read today’s Word.)

Are you realizing many around are not comfortable with your change? They will notice the change and they will say things. Your emotions can control your thoughts in a negative way when this happens. You suddenly feel as if you are looked down upon or at least different from those making you feel down.

This is a real situation. This will actually happen, but you can make sure you understand the “Truth”. What is “right” and correct in God’s Spirit.

Many people you know have worldly eyes and thoughts that are not “right”, correct in God’s Spirit, not in “Truth” – not yet ;-).

They will question you; “Who do you think you are?” They will judge you; “You are not perfect.” “You are doing this for selfish reasons.” Then they will question again; “So why do you think you can speak about God and Christ Jesus, about His way of Life, about His Word?”

Well, today you can stand firm in your Faith. Take care not to embellish or generalize your knowledge to explain your decision to be a Christian and to share His word, to start a prayer group, to hold a fundraiser to raise a church, to live a “Life” following His Word. Use God’s Word ! John tells us why and how to do this, and when we understand and use God’s Word (bless you Lord for Your Word) we stand in truth, firm in our Faith.

1 John 1

The Word of Life

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete.

Walking in the light

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

So, He is real and is Truth and He is the Light, which we can rightfully fellowship in and share with others and “Live” in.

1 John 2

3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4 The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. 8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. 10 Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. 11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.

If you have people around you, relatives, friends, social leaders and others that are talking about you and not supporting you, when you are standing in and on the Word of Truth, the Light, and they are not backing their positions with scripture, then there are at least two things in the works.

1.) A spiritual separation (which is a natural and physical separation in the world) is occurring because you have moved into the “Light”. You have placed God at the “Head” of your Life.

2.) or as John continues: 1 John 2

19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

Be prepared for this change and understand it is by His Divine plan for you! If you feel you are loosing someone who is close to you in your life, and this does hurt (God knows this) and you want them to remain in your Life, pray and God will bring them back to you. If you are in His Spirit and they mature into His Spirit, your relationship will be blessed by God and you will come back together. God may even use you to bring them into Him!!

Be ready to do this, as well be careful!!

1 John 3 – 7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.

Then, when in His Spirit, we can love one another.

1 John 3

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 19 This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence 20 whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

Confidence happens with maturity and growing in His Spirit. This occurs with understanding His Word. His Word is only understood when you accept Christ Jesus in Faith for Gods Grace and Mercy. AMEN ?? !!!

So when you notice and feel a separation from people close to you, understand His Word. As well, when He leads them to you, share this Word:

1 John 4

13 We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

John gives us more direction, and in 2 John, a sound and direct message to those who are struggling with the “Change” we are discussing and the potential emotional driven thoughts some of us will go through. Because in this world we are subject to a power greater then us, unless we have Christ’s power:

1 John 5 – 19We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Now, in those days, men were often (not always) the ones to take on the role of sharing His Word. Today, all of us can share His word (and we should), but at that time (and the message still applies to everyone) John issued a strong message to wives and mothers regarding those He (God) has chosen to spread His word:

2 John 1

1 The elder, to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth—and not I only, but also all who know the truth – 2 because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever:

8 Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him.

Be confident in full knowledge that God knows what is going on:

3 John 1

10 So if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, gossiping maliciously about us.

The message here is to support the one in your Life that is sharing God’s Good News, His Word. If others say anything, ask anything and it is not in line with His Word or teachings, be very discerning, in fact, do not listen to them at all, in fact, share the teachings you know and understand, or have the one in your Life that is teaching and sharing His Word to share with them. This is the way of Jesus – AMEN !!

You that have accepted Jesus, accepted the change and are sharing His Word, know this:

3 John 1

2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that you keep well, even as your soul keeps well and prospers.

5 Beloved, it is a fine and faithful work that you are doing when you give any service to the our brethren, and especially when they are strangers.

7 For these teachers have gone out for His Name’s sake and are receiving nothing from the strangers they teach.

8 So we ourselves ought to support such people and provide for them, in order that we may be fellow workers in the Truth and cooperate with its teachers.

Isn’t His Word so simple!! With all the explanations (and the lenghthy sermon above) that seem to be required to help us understand what goes on in this world, with people of this world, influenced by what is not “right”, God makes it so easy to understand. Simply, do not listen to them, Listen again to the Voice of Truth, believe in Jesus Christ, have faith you are making a good choice, sharing His Word, and you will overcome every attack, every challenge standing in your path, and you will receive all of His blessings for you today, and you will Live Forever!

In Your Name Lord and Christ Jesus we pray, Amen
