Prayer Request for Christina Green – 1/8/2011

Requested by “His Message for You“ for Christina Green, killed in the Tucson, AZ shooting of Gabrielle Giffords and others. Christina was 9 years old and is the daughter of Los Angeles Dodgers scout John Green and a granddaughter of former Philadelphia Phillies manager Dallas Green.

Father, we have faith that Your Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We know Your Angels will carry Christina directly to Your open arms to welcome her home and she will rest in Your light and peace forever.

We have complete faith in Your Word:

1 Corinthians 15:51-57: “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed…and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?… 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
