Praying in memory of our fallen Heroes, our protectors of Freedom – 5/30/2011
"You gave your life for others, welcome Home"Father, as we celebrate this weekend in freedom we remember and we pray together in complete and total faith, with all of our strength, passion, love and Hope that You bring each of us directly home to You when we leave this world. We do not always understand Your way, but have faith Your plan is always for good and we know You have welcomed all of our fallen Heroes Home with open arms. We pray You will bless their family and friends with the comfort and understanding only Your Holy Spirit can provide. We know You have blessed and will always bless our country, the United States of America “one country under God”.
We pray in faith in Your Word:
John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Ephesians 1:9-11 “God has now revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill His own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in Heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything workout according to his plan.”
1 Corinthians 15:51-57 “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye….we shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed…and this mortal shall have put on immortality… thanks be to God, which giveth us this victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We pray together in faith, that Your blessing of redemption and victory for our Heroes is a blessing You graciously give for all of us!
In Your Name God our Father, Christ and Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit we pray, Amen

Most of us are always pursuing the best for ourselves, our families and our “Life”.
We sometimes think about and even consider the “religious” way of life, but are challenged by the seemingly odd or rigorous traditions, fanciness, reactionary and emotional behaviors we see going on in church, on television and even from folks standing on the corner or knocking on our doors.
In today’s world of technology and information, we can easily educate ourselves and make our own decisions. Which we enjoy, and we should!
If you are thinking about how religion, or in an easier term to understand, a spiritual life can help you, start with the simplest (and absolutely most important) information.
