Many argue entrepreneurship and a Spiritual Life cannot coexist. Our Father tells us:
Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
As you stand in faith you are blessed with the opportunity to understand that entrepreneurship as a part of your life is blessed when you live in a Spiritual Relationship with Christ; all things in your life are blessed, because simply, your Spiritual Life is blessed.
Always partner with another who believes like you. You will keep each other aligned to His Way, His Plan and His Characteristics.
Now examine yourself; are you standing in faith and fully living in a Spiritual Relationship with Christ? Or are you standing a bit on your own, behaving at times in your human nature and acting outside of the characteristics of Christ with a bit of pride or dishonesty? Thinking it is ok, Christ will forgive me. Are you making decisions that you know in your heart are not aligned with His characteristics; integrity and full honesty? Are you making decisions and behaving contrary to His Word by acting the way the world forces you to act to achieve your goals or in pursuit of worldly gain and money? Do you think you can control the things in this world on your own? By perhaps just cheating a little on the way He told you?
When you stand on your own and outside of that which God tells you in His Word, you are vulnerable. You open the door for the enemy to control you. You will willingly decide to act with a lack of integrity, a lack of full honesty and open truth. You will selfishly concede to your carnal nature and weakness and you will give in to the temptations the enemy brings upon you; promises of success and wealth, promises of great gifts and money, promises to allow you to achieve your goals.
When you think a little fib is ok and by manipulating truth, even just a little, to achieve your goal you will be blinded by the promises of the enemy and you will be distracted from the promises of God. You will step slightly aside from your faith, outside the security where all things, seen and unseen, are provided by God Himself. You will cause a separation for recieveing God’s blessings, from the blessing you know in your heart God placed upon you. All because of your own decision to move, just slightly, away from what you know is right.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins
You know in your heart and you feel the conviction of the consequences for these actions and bad decisions.
Proverbs 21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death.
Not living by His Word and abiding by that which you know in your heart is right, you find yourself asking “Where is the blessing?” “Where have I gone wrong?” “What must I do to correct this?”
You can be successful, you can live well, you can live in abundance and prosperity, but you have to live first in your Spiritual Relationship. You have to live right and by His Word which you know is Truth. Then everything in our life, including entrepreneurship will be blessed and will be made good by His Will, His Way in His Time.
Psalm 15:1-5 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.

Father, we know You will bless those who strive to be flawless, who live in Your Word and those who stand firm in faith in You. We know You are the only One who can give us the strength to overcome the temptations the enemy will bring upon us in the pursuit of success and in success when we go on our own. Pride, deceit and scheming will overtake us unless we first focus on our Spiritual Relationship, live the way You tell us to live; in Truth. We know You will bless us when we live with integrity, focus on serving You, help others and share Your Message of the Good News. Then, because You are blessing us, we are successful in all we do, because we do it for You, by You and with You in us.
In Jesus’ Name we proclaim Truth is first in all we do, Amen
